What this app does

Store Widget for Google adds Google's official Merchant store widget to your Shopify storefront as a theme app embed.

Data we collect

The app requests no Shopify API data permissions and never reads, collects, or stores your customers' personal data. The only data stored is the standard Shopify app session for your store (shop domain and an access token), which is required for the app to be installed and is deleted when you uninstall.

Third parties

The widget on your storefront is served directly by Google (gstatic.com / google.com) under Google's privacy policy. We do not send any data to Google — the widget works the same way as if you had pasted Google's official snippet into your theme.

GDPR

We respond to all of Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Since we store no customer data, data subject requests have no data to return, and shop data is erased automatically after uninstall.
