Why doesn't the badge appear on my store?
The badge is rendered by Google only for stores enrolled in the Store Quality program in Google Merchant Center. Enroll in Merchant Center, then allow up to 48 hours. The app's integration itself activates instantly — you can confirm it by searching your page source for “merchantwidget”.
Do I need to edit my theme code?
No. The app uses a theme app embed — enable it with one toggle in the theme editor. Uninstalling the app removes the widget completely.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The app injects only Google's official script, loaded asynchronously (defer). There is no additional JavaScript.
Can I change the badge position?
Yes — bottom right or bottom left, plus pixel-level margin controls for desktop and mobile, all in the theme editor settings.
Which rating does the badge show?
Google decides automatically based on your Merchant Center scorecard: Top Quality Store status, your store rating, or general store quality information.
Does the app access my customers' data?
No. The app requests no data permissions and never reads or stores customer data.
Which themes are supported?
Any Online Store 2.0 theme — that is, all modern Shopify themes.
